Embo School
Originally built as a basic school and schoolhouse by William Fowler in 1859-60. Fowlers were a significant concern, who also built the Culag Hotel at Lochinver and Hope Lodge at Eriboll. The eastern addition to the school was designed in 1896 by architects Andrew Maitland & Sons. This highly respected Tain firm was responsible for much of the best local building in the period, including Tain Town Hall and Resolis Manse.
All this will make a fine Community Centre for the Village - but only with your help!
